In our latest music series #MyStyleMySound, supporting upcoming artists in association with Metropolis Studios, we worked with with some of the artists to create some customised ellesse outfits to give them a unique look.
Stylists Gemma Swann and Trisha Lewis used their magic to create a glam embellished hoody for the utterly cool artist Shunaji, featuring her name embellished across the back of her outfit. Taking a pink velour hoody and matching track pants, and giving it a completely customised look. Our stylist took the Capretta Hoody and created a one-off customised hoody for Shunaji using diamanté embellishments to give her a one-off individual look.
If you’re interested in creating your own customised outfit similar to this, then check out our video for a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Select an outfit – our stylists went with the Capretta Hoody in pink velour.
Step 2: Iron on the letters to create your chosen name or word.
Step 3: Overlay the letters with acetate to secure them.
Step 4: Trace the outline of each letter with the crystals or embellishments.
Step 5: Arrange the letters in the correct order and position on the hoody.
Step 6: Iron over the letters to secure them onto the velour.
Step 7: Align the crystal letters on top.
Step 8: Iron over the crystal sheeting to secure it to the fabric.
See Shunaji owning it her ellesse hacked velour hoody in her music videos, performed live at Metropolis Studios for ellesse music sessions #MyStyleMySound.
